People have proposed three options to the problem of the existence of God, evil, and suffering.
First, evil and suffering show that God does not exist.
Second, some type of God may exist, but he probably is not a good God because he does not care.
Third, if there is a God who cares, he is not all-powerful because he does not have enough power to stop the evil and suffering.
This bring us back to our original question, if God is good and all-powerful, why do suffering and evil exist?
